Darn. I would have loved this if it would have been the size listed. I returned it because it is small; probably about two inches by one and a half. I gave it two stars because I would have kept it if it would have filled the area I wanted, like the description said it would.

Really nice looking. Unfortunately, it looks like metal but is really a resin-like plastic. As long as you install it carefully on a really flat surface, it should be fine. Unfortunately, the pre-dilled holes and wires on my house were poorly placed on top of vinyl siding. Too much bounce and give. Tail snapped off right away, because the hole is so close to the edge. Okay, so thought I'd try to install with just the top screw. That put too much pressure on the top so the head popped right off. Again, if you have a really flat surface with no bounce, this should be okay. Though, if the plastic is that brittle and unforgiving, I can't imagine it would survive much cold weather.

I am so glad I bought this cute turtle door bell. It adds a fun touch to my front door. I also bought the turtle charm to "trail" behind this turtle. Turn them a little and they look like they are swimming in the ocean! Very easy for my husband to install!

What a great looking door bell, definitely out of the norm. Just about everyone that has come to my front door has had a nice complement. Just because you are getting older you can still put a little spunk in your life with this fun Gecko, stop being so drab. This Gecko is not small, it's 4 in high, 2 in across and 1 inch deep. Make sure it will fit before you order it. The Gecko is solid and very well made. The push button is lit up, which is nice. If you live in Florida Gecko's are a way of life down here. they are everywhere. Which is a good thing because they help keep the bug's under control. My Kitty and I also agree they are fun to watch. I have gotten nothing but compliments since I got this doorbell cover. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed at first because it's bigger than it seems. Aside from the linear dimensions, at its highest, it stands out from the wall about an inch at the center of the button and the rest is fairly substantial. Make sure it will fit where you want to put it. I was concerned because my doorbell was set perpendicular to the frame. When I installed it as shown, it barely fit.
I installed it as shown because that's where the holes were. Sadly, that buried its head in the corner and you had to look at it extra long to see what it was despite being so colorful. Then, one night, I was looking out on the porch where real geckos actually hang out, and noticed that they were clinging to wall with their heads pointed downward.
