4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Light, With One Design Flaw, April 27, 2012

This appears to be a decent quality, basic, affordable fixture. There is one large design flaw: the electric-eye is somewhat hidden on top of the fixture, which means the light stays on well into the day, and turns back on well before dusk. 5.0 out of 5 stars same as ML4G181JJBK but with round white globe, February 21, 2012
This review is from: MaxLite ML4G181GLBK 18-Watt Globe Lantern (75-Watt equivalent) in Black (Tools & Home Improvement)
This fixture is the same base and "guts" as the Maxlite Jelly jar fixture which I reviewed separately. The only difference is that this has a round white globe. I found the fixtures with the GU24 bulb to be excellent.
